Sarah uses balsa wood to build airplane models. After completing a model, she had a strip of balsa wood measuring 7/8 of a yard left over. Shawn the Weirdo wants to buy half of the strip from Sarah. If Sarah paid $2.00 for each yard, how much should she charge Shawn for the strip he buys?
