If we wanted to find the length of the diagonal of a square with sides length a, then
diagonal = sqrt(2a^2)
=6sqrt(2)
sqrt(2a^2)= 6sqrt(2)
2a^2 = 36 x 2
a^2 = 36
so a=6
now find the perimeter
