where do i start and how do i finish?
write vignette to personify the girls in the "picture" as fall or winter
(the black and white "picture" is of a girl standing in a blank room with her dog at her side)
Girls? Are both the girl and her dog supposed to be female?
Imagine what the girl is thinking. Take notes as you let your imagination run loose. Now do the same with the dog. If she could talk, what would she say?
Do you think the girl and the dog see the empty room differently?
Take notes and keep on writing. When you allow yourself to be "blocked," you'll lose your train of thought. Just keep writing ("stream of consciousness") and don't stop for about 10 minutes. (Set a timer.)
After 10 minutes, see what you have. Choose what you want to use. A vignette is like a very short story with lots of description in it.
