carol FRIEND ESMERALDA IS AWAY FOR 3 DAYS.SHE ASKED CARLO TO FEED HER PET DOG TWICE A DAY.CARLO FEED HIM ONE 8-OUNCE CAN EVERY TIME HE GOES ESMERALDA'S HOUSE.

HOW MANY CANS OF FOOD DOES ESMERALDA NEED TO BUY FOR THE THREE DAY VACATION? SHOW HOW YOU CALCULATEAD YOUR ANSWER.

CARLO PLANS TO FEED THE DOG BEEF ONE DAY, CHICKEN ANOTHER DAY AND GRAINS ON ANOTHER DAY. HOW MANY DIFFEERENT 3 DAY COMBINATIONS CAN HE MAKE? LIST THE COMBINATIONS.

my son say this answer 1) is 8 x 3 = 24
and i think is 8 x 2 = 16

2) beef, chicken, and grains then chicken, beef, and grains then third day grains, chicken, and beef

The dog only eats 2 cans a day (not 8).

2 * 3 = 6 cans

The dog is eating all of one kind of food each day.

The dog could eat 6 different combinations:

beef, chicken, grain
chicken, beef, grain

grain, chicken, beef
grain, beef, chicken
