**Damon**, Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 2:03pmdo you mean

v(t) = 8 t^3 ???

where v is velocity in x direction???

if so

s = s(0) + integral from 0 to t of 8 t^3 dt

= s(0) + 2 t^4

= 5 + 2 t^4
