do you mean
v(t) = 8 t^3 ???
where v is velocity in x direction???
if so
s = s(0) + integral from 0 to t of 8 t^3 dt
= s(0) + 2 t^4
= 5 + 2 t^4

yes i did mean
v(t) = 8 t^3 in the x direction.
