rearrange to make y subject so
y=-3(x/2)-10
so the gradient of the line is -3/2
so the gradient of the new line is -3/2 as it is parallel.
so the new line is of the form
y=(-3/2)x + c
you have two values in the question
x=24
y=12
substitute these to find c.
