Like for economic I know that revolves around the industry and employment. Could someone give some examples of what exactly is social change in the US? Does it involve the people. I'm confused

"Social" always has to do with people.

Some social changes I've witnessed:

Desegregated schools and businesses
Wide-spread acceptance of pre-marital sex
People staying in contact by social networks on the internet
