Can you please check these sentences?

1) Fishing was an important source of income in the Maldives. Now it has been replaced by tourism.
2) In Dublin you can go shopping in the busy and noisy streets around Grafton Street.
3) In 1845 Ireland was struck (hit) by a terrible femine, which killed one million people. Others emigrated to 80 different countries.

1 and 2 are fine.

In 3, you need a comma after 1845, correct the spelling of "famine," and you need to clarify "Others" -- who are those others? Other famines? Other people? Clarify.
