i got the general pattern x*5/6 but there is a second part "If a movie ticket costs 7.50, what is jame's weekly allowanse?"
Exuse my ignorance, i'm in algebra 1 honors, but is the 7.50 represented by X? meaning 7.50x1/5?
(5/6)x = 7.50
x = 7.5 / (5/6)
x = 7.5 * (6/5)
x = 45/5
x = $9.00
