Of the sixth-grade students surveyed, 12% bring their lunches to school. Suppose 24 sixth-graders do this? How many sixth-grade are at the school?

Maddyln Garonne, EXACTLY WHAT does that have to do with the math question? That's very insulting for some people. If you're not answering the question then GET OUT of here! I hate it when people think they're funny by posting stuff doing nothing with the question. Btw the answer is 200- 24 students divided by .12 (students who bring their lunch to school) equals 200 students! Hope I helped (:

I'm confused........ s what is the answer? I'm sorry but I must have the same math book as you guys and this is very complicated!

12% is the same thing as .12

So .12*(number of sixth graders) = 24

number of sixth graders = 24/.12 = 200

It is 2019 yall!!!!

nope

The answer is 200. Yw :P

24 is 12% of 200

I don’t know the awnser but I’m a sixth grader and I didn’t really understand this stuff until I realized that I had to use is over of then match what’s next to the of and but it under what the is,is and if I didn’t know then I would put a variable bc that is what I was solving for now everything Makes much more sense to me leave a like if ur in sixth grade also
