1) tina has 48 mL of a solution that is 25% acid. how much water should she add to obtain a solution that is 15% acid?

2) how many grams of sugar must be added to 60 grams of a 32% solution to obtain a 50% solution?

1. Let the amount to be added be x mL

solve .25(48) + x = .15(48+x)

2. Do it the same way
