Gravity on the surface of the moon is only
1

as strong as gravity on the Earth.
What is the weight of a 33 kg object on the
Earth? The acceleration of gravity is 10m/s2 .
Answer in units of N.

  • Physics - ,

    weight on Earth= 33g
    weight on moon= 33/6 * g

It bothers me to use 10m/s^2, and it bothers me that a teacher would do that. Nowhere on Earth is it that value, never has been, and never will be.
