mount everset is 29,029 feet above sea level. How many yards above sea level is Mount Everest?

Would I divide 29,029 by 3?

9,976 feet above sea level

Your number is correct. But the problem asks for yards, not feet.

A football field is 100 yards long. When I was a child, my house was on a small lot that was about 30 yards deep.

You had the right answer, but stated it as feet not yards.
