**Ms. Sue**, Monday, October 25, 2010 at 6:16pmYou need to divide, not multiply.

Think about it, a $3 tip is 1/6 of 18. That's about 17%

3/18.7 = ?

**Ms. Sue**, Monday, October 25, 2010 at 6:45pmYes. Now move the decimal point two places to the right to get the percent. Round your answer to the nearest whole percent.
