Individual Assignment: Environmental Factors

· Resources: University Library, Internet

· Select an organization with which you are familiar that conducts both domestic and global marketing.

· Write a 1,050- to 1,400-word paper in which you identify the environmental factors that affect global and domestic marketing decisions. Address the following as they relate to the organization’s marketing decisions:

o Analyze the influence of global economic interdependence and the effect of trade practices and agreements.

o Examine the importance of demographics and physical infrastructure.

o Analyze the influence of cultural differences.

o Examine the importance of social responsibility and ethics versus legal obligations.

o Analyze the effect of political systems and the influence of international relations.

o Analyze the influence of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, as well as the influence of local, national, and international legislation.

o Explain the effect of technology.

I just need some help in where to find this information... I am struggling with this paper.. Have been trying for a week to find information plus I really don't get it. Due tomorrow... Please help

At this webpage, you can go immediately to the search sites (first three columns across the top) -- or even better you can scroll down until you see the section called HOW TO SEARCH THE INTERNET. Those are the links to start with. You'll not only learn how to come up with good search terms, but also how to evaluate the webpages you get as results. Some will be good and others will be garbage. You need to know how to tell the difference.

My favorite way to search is to go to Google's advanced search page http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en and put my search words or phrases into the first or second search box (either "all the words" or "exact phrase").
