It would be choice 3. The x in the first parenthesis would be 8, and in the second parenthesis 6.

When x=8 (x-8)=0 (x-8)*(x+6)=0*(x+6=0

When x=-6 (x+6)=0 (x-8)*(x+6)=(x-8)*0=0
