How can I train my body to run faster and run longer distances?

It depends on your age and health, and especially you heart, lungs, weight, and knees. I would start asking my doctor if it is ok to run.

Then, set out a plan to run each day, but each week increasing the distance/time by 8 percent. In 10 weeks, you will have doubled your distance.
