sodium is a very good conductor of electricity and scientists are working on ways of using it to make electrical wires. what are the main problems the scientists must try to solve before sodium can be used in this way?
I'm sure there are several problems but one must be the extreme reactivity of sodium. Sodium must be kept away from oxygen in almost any form and water (or water like materials such as alcohols).
