A moving rod is 12.0 cm long and moves with a speed of 15.0 cm/s. If the magnetic field is 0.800 T, calculate (a) the emf developed, and (b) the electric field in the rod.
I got a)0.0132v and b).12v/m
The rod must move across the field lines.
EMF = B V L = (0.80)*(0.15 m/s)*(0.12 m) = 0.0144 V
E-field = V/L
