What are some of the steps…. taking notes while preparing for a outline, introduction, etc.?

****I HAVE ONE AND NEED SOME HELP. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO BE SURE I AM ON THE RIGHT TRACK WITH TH EONE I HAVE SO FAR****
