Can you check if my corrections are OK?

1) He told her that her husband's last words had been her name.
2) He arrived at the central station walking. (Better: he walked to the central station?)
3) The Expedition consisted of groups of ivory traders who went to Africa to get ivory.
3) He described him badly, saying that he has done horrible things. Better: he said that he had done horrible things. He described him negatively (??)
4) During the break I usually go out in the back school yard. The front school yard is generally occupied by the teachers' cars.
