"Kids have done bunches (of) dumb (and) clumsy mistakes" is how I remember it.
Say, if you were trying to figure this problem out:
1000 mL = ___ L.
"milli" is the last M. Say that's the decimal point. To get to L (base, or the middle of the letters, which I use a "B" for base, by the way.)you have to move 3 decimal places to the left, as implied by the letters. so it would be 1L. KHDBDCM The B is the Litres.
