The engineer of a Russian nuclear submarine lurking under the Arctic Sea reports an outside pressure of 35 ATM. How deep is the submarine? Neglect ice thickness.

counting atmospheric pressure, 34 atm of water is above.

34*101.3kN/m^2=h*densityArticWater*g

using 1027kg/m^3 as the density of Artic water

h= 34*101300/(9.8*1027)=342 meters
