Anica and her friends are organizing a trip to the skateboarding championships.The bus they will rent to take them there and back will cost $500. Anica estimates that each person will spend $40 for meals and souvenirs.

The least precise number has 4 significant figures, so the answer can be presented to 4 or 5 significant figures for intermediate calculations, and in this particular case where the least significant number is a small number).

885.75 g + 10.151 g - 25.50 g
=870.40
=8.7040e2

((2.70000e2 cm)^3) / ((1.20e3 cm)^2) = 13.66875 centimeters
