I only see two speeds. Surely you know why top speed is greater than mean speed.
A bus makes a 10 mile journey throuh town. Its top speed is 30mph and its mean speed its 10 mph.
Explain why these speeds are different?
The bus was probably in traffic that moved at much less than 10 mph. It probably rarely hit 30 mph.
