The Specific Gravity of kerosene is 0.786/ What is the volume occupied by 7.75kg of kerosene?

  • Chemistry - ,

    mass/volume=density

    volume=mass/density.
    but specific gravity and density are the same when compared to water, so

    volume=7.75kg/(1kg/liter)=7.75 liters.

  • Chemistry - ,

    so it's 7.75/0.786?
