The heights in inches of 14 randomly selected adult males in LA are listed as: 71, 67, 70, 59, 71, 68, 67, 71, 80, 68, 74, 69, 72, 68.
1. Display the data in a stemandleaf plot.
2. Find the mean.
3. Find the median.
4. Find the mode.
5. Find the range.
6. Find the variance.
7. Find the standard deviation.

Find the mean first = sum of scores/number of scores
Subtract each of the scores from the mean and square each difference. Find the sum of these squares. Divide that by the number of scores to get variance.
Standard deviation = square root of variance
Mode = most frequently observed score.
For median, arrange scores in order of value. Middlemost score = median. If two middlemost scores, mean of those two scores = median
