h(x) = 19-x when x is 5 and when x is -5

I need to write and expression so is this the right way?
h(x)=19
h(5)x19
h(5)x 19=-5

h(5)=19-5

h(-5)=19+5

when x=5, substitute all the x's with 5..

do the same when x=-5

Thank you Rachel I understand much better

you're welcome!

To find the value of h(x) when x is 5 and when x is -5 for the given function h(x) = 19 - x, you need to substitute the values of x into the function.

To find h(5), replace x with 5 in the function:
h(5) = 19 - 5
Simplifying this expression, we get:
h(5) = 14

Next, to find h(-5), replace x with -5 in the function:
h(-5) = 19 - (-5)
Simplifying this expression, we get:
h(-5) = 19 + 5
h(-5) = 24

So, the correct expressions for h(x) when x is 5 and when x is -5 are:
h(5) = 14
h(-5) = 24
