What is the formula of a substance that contains 0.0920 g of C and 0.0180 g of H?

This is what I did...

Find how many moles of each...
.00766 mol C
.01786 mol H

Then I think I am supposed to divide each by the lowest number.. But I am not coming out with anything close to a whole number.

If I divide the smaller number by itself I have

C = 0.00766/0.00766 = 1
Then divide the other number by the same small number.
H = 0.01786/0.00766 = 2.33

True, 2.33 is not close to a whole number but what happens if you multiply both 1 and 2.33 by 3? I believe you will obtain C = 3 and H = 2.33x3=6.99 and that rounds to 3 for C and 7 for H.Check my thinking.
