Can you please check these other sentences for me? Thank you very much for your invaluable help.

1) Portia disguises herself as a judge and Nerissa as her clerk. They come to court to defend Antonio unknown of their husbands.
2) Portia advises Shylock to be merciful to Antonio. Shylock refuses her request and admits he wants the bond because he hates Antonio.
3)Antonio's friends try to persuade him not to take the pound of flesh.
4) Portia says that according to the law of Venice Shylock will lose all his property for having conspired against the life of a Venetian. She adds that the Duke can have him executed.
5)The Duke says that he will give Shylock his life but his property will go to Antonio and to the state.
6) Antonio suggests that Shylock should promise to leave all his wealth to Lorenzo and Jessica. Furthermore, he must convert to Christianity.
8)As a sign of their friendship Portia asks Antonio to give her his gloves and Bassanio his ring.
9) That was the ring she had given Bassanio at Belmont as a sign of her love. Bassanio agrees to take off the ring and orders Graziano to give it to Portia.
