Simplify each expression.

1)(sqrt7 + 5)(sqrt7 -6)

My answer is sqrt 7 - 30

Am I correct?

no, you forgot the middle terms

(√7 + 5)(√7 - 6)
= 7 + 5√7 - 6√7 - 30 , using FOIL
= -23 - √7
