first day --> x
2nd day --> x+7
etc
x + x+7 + x+14 + x+21 + x+28 = 125
5x = 55
x = 11
x = (x+7) + (x+14) + (x+21) + (x+28) =
125,
5x + 70 = 125,
5x = 125 - 70 = 55,
x = 11.
I agree 100% with that answer and I understand all of it besides:
5x + 70 = 125
please help
X + (X + 7) + (X + 14) + (X + 21) + (X + 28) = 125.
X + X + X + X + X = 5X.
7 + 14 + 21 + 28 = 70.
5X + 70 = 125
5X = 125 - 70 = 55
X = 11.
I'm glad i could help.
