find the slope and the y intercept of the line. Please help me I keep getting the y intercept wrong.
8x=9y + 54
I got the slope correct but I cant get the y intercept.

8x = 9y + 54.
Put Eq in STD Form:
8x  9y = 54
The yInt IS the point where the graph crosses the yaxis and x = 0. Therefore, you should substitute 0 for
x in your STD Eq and solve for y.
8 * 0  9y = 54
y = 6 = yInt.
P(0 , 6).
Slope = A/B = 8/9 = 8/9.
Determine the xintercept and yintercept of 3x  6y = 12.(Points : 2)
(9, 0) and (0, 3)
(4, 0) and (0, 2)
(4, 0) and (0, 4)
