a ball rebounds 1/2 of the height from which it is dropped. The ball is dropped from a height of 136 feet and keeps on bouncing. How far will it traveled when it strikes the ground the third time?

136 + 2*68 + 2*34 = 136 + 136 + 68 = __?
You have to stop adding after three bounces. 136 is the distance it falls on the first drop.
