I had to write five sentences in which I used 5 different tenses. Here is what I wrote:

Education helps financial planning by giving basic skills needed for better jobs and higher wages. (Present)

Education will help financial planning by giving basic skills needed for better jobs and higher wages. (Future)

Education helped financial planning by giving basic skills needed for better jobs and higher wages. (Past)

Education has helped financial planning by giving basic skills needed for better jobs and higher wages. (Past Perfect)

Education has been helping financial planning by giving basic skills needed for better jobs and higher wages. (Past Perfect Progressive)

I am worried I did not label my tenses properly.

The fourth is present perfect. Past perfect uses the auxiliary verb "had."

The fifth is present perfect progressive, for the same reason as above.
