1/2 , 0.5 and 50% are all equivalent
since 1/7 is appr equal to .143 , then 14.3% would fit the pattern.
1/2 = 0.5 = 50%
When you divide 1 by 2 you get 0.5. To convert that to a percent, multiply by 100.
1/7 = 0.143
What is 0.143 multiplied by 100?
