the value, v, of a shopkeepers inventory software program is given by v= -(1)/(2)t+5 where t is the number of years since the shopkeeper bought the program. What is the program worth 4 years after its first year purchased? Plot the point with the given t-value, 4

you have to substitute the value of t given in the problem to the equation to get v,, therefore:
v = (-1/2)(4) + 5
v = 3

therefore, the point is at (4,3) assuming that v is the vertical axis and t is the horizontal axis of rectangular coordinate plane,,
