Which of the following is not a step used when graphing the equation y = −x + 8 using the slope-intercept method?
Explain the correct order of steps needed to graph this equation, using the slope-intercept method.
Plot the x-intercept (32, 0).
Plot the y-intercept (0, 8).
Draw a line through the two points.
Count down 1 and right 4 from the y-intercept.

(32, 0) is just plain not on this line.

All you need is:
1. Plot the y-intercept (0, 8)
2. Count down 1 and right 1 (not 4) from the y-intercept
3. Draw a line through the two points
