c. Nonane is a hydrocarbon and non-polar. H2O is a polar solvent. What do you think? Note that you want to know if it is soluble. There is no such word as soluable.
d. Nonane has a density of 0.79 g/mL. Water has a density of 1.0 g/mL. What do you think.
