Posted by Ariel on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 12:01pm.

A man leaves his house and begins walking in a straight line. After 2 hours he is ten miles from home. Calculate the man's average speed in terms of feet per second. (There are 3600 seconds in an hour and 5280 feet in a mile.)

so i used Average speed=total distance traveled/ total traveling time.

10*5280=52800
------------- =7.33ft/s
2*3600=7200
