Financial planning is very important to the success of your schooling, because you need to make sure that you have enough money saved for school.
I am having problems with finding the verb can someone help me. I am thinking that it is saved but not sure.

No. In this sentence, saved is a participle, acting as an adjective.

The verb in the first clause is IS.
The verb in the second clause is NEED
