Na + F2 -> NaF
I balanced out this equation like this.
Na + F2 -> Na2F OR would I write it as
-> Na + F2 -> NaF2 , would the 2 go before the F, or after the F?
Neither. Rule #1 when balancing equations; thou shalt not change the subscripts. Thou may change the coefficients ONLY.
2Na + F2 ==> 2NaF
