Find the equation of the line containing the given pair of points (1/6, -1/3)(5/6, 5). I need to know how to work this can you help.

many ways, here is one
first the slope

m = (Y2-Y1)/(X2-X1) = (5 1/3)/(4/6) = (16/3)/(2/3) = 8

so y = 8 x + b
now put a point in to find b
-1/3 = (8/6) + b
solve for b and you are there.
