1/2 of 8 = 4
8 + 4 = 12
1/2 of 12 = 6
12 + 6 = 18
1/2 of 18 = 9
18 + 9 = 27
1/2 of 27 = 13.5
27 + 13.5 = 40.5
What do you think the next two numbers are?
jeez i dont get it
I showed you how this sequence was figured.
What part of what I posted don't you understand?
1/2 of ...and how do u kno what number to put?
I took the first numbers in the sequence -- 8, 12, 18, and 27.
For the next number,
Take 1/2 of 40.5
Add that number to 40.5 to get the next number in the sequence.
i got 10.125
Wrong. Doesn't half of 40 equal 20???
1/2 = 0.5
Use a calculator and multiply:
0.5 * 40.5
20.25?
Right. Half of 40.5 = 20.25
Add:
40.5 + 20.25 = ?
That will give you the sixth number of the sequence.
thx but need ur help anymore,... im such a pain..i'll do them on my own
