If someone kicked a ball that with a mass of .4 kg and it accelerated from rest to 9.0 m/s and it was only in contact for 0.075s what is the force exerted on the ball?

Can someone jus point me in the right direction with an equation or any help?
thanks

When the time lapse is small, the force is usually measured by the change of momentum per unit time, again, by Newton's second law.

F = (change of momentum) / Δt
The momentum has changed from 0 to (mass * velocity) within the short time Δt of 0.075 s.

Solve for F.
