A beaker contains 250.0 mL of a 1.00 M HCl solution. How many moles of the acid would remain in the solution after 0.199 moles of HCl are neutralized?

    initial moles HCl = M x L = 1.00 x 0.250 = 0.250 moles.
    moles used = 0.199
    moles remaining = 0.250 - 0.199 = ??
