Choose the correct slopeintercept form of the following equation and identify the slope and yintercept. x + 2y = 5
a.)2x + y = 3; m=2; b=3
b.)y = 3x + 2; m=4; b=0
c.)y = 1/2x + 5/2; m=1/2; b=5/2

x + 2y = 5
2y = x + 5
y = (1/2)x + 5/2
so
m = 1/2
when x = 0, y = 5/2 (y intercept)

Option d is correct because 2y=x+5
divide by 2
y=x/2+5/2
compare by y=mx+c
m=1/2 and c=5/2
