Could You Plz Give Me Suggestions On How to write a dialogue between a parent and a teenager discussing about how the child can contribute to the family ??
Try this metaphor. Think of the family as a pot of stew. The more "goodies" that are put into the stew the better it is. Dad and mom put in the meat and potatoes... filling but not really tasty. What can "you " add that will make the stew better.
If that is too simplistic, Talk about what that teen gets out of being a member of the family... then ask what he would like to contribute to equate.
