square root of x+2=3

square root of 3-2x=x

I am having hard time with these problem help me some one

Just square both sides. You will end up with a linear or quadratic equation to solve.

In the second example:

3 - 2x = x^2
x^2 +2x -3 = 0
(x+3)(x-1) = 0
x = -3 or 1
For the -3 to be a solution, you must assume the original equation allowed both positive and negative square roots.

I am sure you can do the other problem one yourself by squaring both sides.
