I do not understand how the solution to(3/2)x +2=15+x is x=34. Can anyone explain?

(3/2)x +2=15+x
multiply every term, both sides, by 2 to get rid of the fraction.
3 x + 4 = 30 + 2 x
x = 26 in fact
are you sure the equation was not:
(3/2)x 2=15+x ?????
